This course aims to reinforce student’s knowledge and sense of good writing through reviewing the rudiments of writing and intensive reading and writing practices. It also uses creative projects to allow students to explore and experiment with different kinds of writing from social media posts to academic papers.

Presentations 20% Assignments 20% Midterm Project 30% Final project 30% Assignments and projects must be submitted on time. No late assignments are accepted. The instructor reserves the exclusive right, at her sole discretion, to change the syllabus and the grading policy of this course.
