概述

Introduce cutting edge Service Oriented Architeture (SOA) Technologies (from 1994 to present) in depth; Integrate (hybrid) Wireless/Wired Infrastructures for Telecommunications & Applications, e.g., Hospital Information Systems, Ecological & Environmental Information Systems on Climate Change, Internet of Things, Cloud Services, etc. Hands-on Practical Training on available commercial products for technologies covered in class. (1) Class Focus Areas, Motivation and Objectives; Introducing Wired/Wireless Networking Fundamentals and Backbones that SOA Technologies based upon; Java Programming (2) Web-Based SOA Frameworks on loosely coupled and Client/Server tightly coupled: XML, JMS, JDBC (including Multi-Database Fundamentals), WSDL, UDDI, SOAP, REST, Web Services,Java EE, CORBA, Wrapping Techniques, RMI Technologies, Relational Database Management System, Object-Relational Mapping and Approaches including possible QoS. (3) Wireless Networks Integration via Android, Java ME, etc. (4) Interoperable Applications using the Heterogeneous, Hybrid Integrated, Distributed, SOA Middleware Platforms

(3) 1 exams in class (4) Projects and Presentations
