本課旨在提供修課學生目前生醫臨床領域中先進系統及電路相關知識,並介紹這些儀器在身體診斷及健康照護的應用。 本課為專題導向並且有三大面項,第一部分會採用史丹佛大學針對如何完成有價值的生醫商業產品所使用的教材書(Stanford-Biodesign) 授課,以幫助學生們專題製作前有完整的理念和知識建立。 第二部分為該學期中將有數堂與生醫電子及訊號處理相關的特別主題演講,內容會涵蓋擴散光學掃描、光容積變化圖與腦電波等生醫領域應用。 最後的部分當中,修課生們會被要求以兩人一組並開始專題的提案與製作,並且題目建議以能如期完成及學生們的研究、知識和興趣相關為優。最終,透過本課程使學生能學習電子工程與臨床醫學的專業知識。 This course aims to provide students with advanced electronic circuits and systems knowledge for the clinical applications in the biomedical field. This course will introduce the medical electronic systems and their applications for physiological measurement, medical diagnosis, and health care. This class is project oriented and will provide in first part lectures on how to make your medical electronic project a valuable commercial product following the method described in: Stanford-Biodesign book. In second part of the semester, the lectures will provide student a good variety of special topics related to different medical electronics projects and bio signals such as diffuse optical tomography, photoplethysmography or electroencephalography. During the third part of the semester, students will be asked to build teams of 2 people, propose and accomplish as much as possible a mini-project based on their personal interests, research and knowledge on medical electronics topics. The students can learn and become professionals who are capable to perform R&D work in the areas of the electronics engineering and the clinical medicine.
