概述

This course focuses on advanced concepts of digital integrated circuit and system design in state-of-the-art CMOS technologies. We will begin with an overview of the fundamental CMOS VLSI design. Then, several data path modules such as adder and multiplier will be taught in details. Finally, special topics of micro-architectures that are very important in modern digital IC will be discussed. The students are assumed to have knowledge of logic design, microelectronics and basic VLSI design, and be familiar with circuit simulator SPICE. After this course, students will acquire an integrated understanding of semiconductor technology and information system industry trends.
