The primary goal of the course is to equip students with capabilities as effective managers. Students in this class will gain knowledge and skills for playing roles of managers and decision makers in companies.
1. The course includes several Harvard and other cases. Professors from different disciplines and invited professionals from business will share their knowledge and experiences in our classes. We will begin with discussions of effective leadership and change management in business. Next, we will focus on the decision tools and processes of managers, and then we will discuss the operations of organizational structure and system. Finally, we shall discuss leadership and governance in some high-performance companies.
