This is a continuous course of Physics (I). The course is aimed to give a general introduction of prominent physical phenomena to the freshman year students. The goal is to give the students an appreciation of comprehending the fundamental mechanisms giving rise to various physical phenomena experienced in daily life. The students are expected to learn how to ask questions and find the approaches to answer the questions.

In addition to classroom lectures (4 hours per week), there will be recitations offered by teaching assistants (selected from senior graduate students) to help students on questions about homeworks and etc.
There will be homework assignments after completion of each chapter (30%), 3 exams (60%), and in-class quizzes (10%).
