This course is intended to familiarize students with investigating engineering problems with probabilistic approach. It is a fundamental-level course and I would like to keep it understandable with minimum requirement of calculus. The main objective is to have students understand the following subjects. 1. Basic probability models 2. Random variables and their pdfs 3. Formulate a real world problem using an appropriate probability model 4.
