概述

Electromagnetism, EM, is an introductory course, which covers from basic static electric and magnetic field, time-varying and Maxwell's equations, plane wave propagation, wave guiding structure to transmission line. Maxwell's equations are first introduced to understand the intrinsic characteristics of EM field and wave followed by the wave propagation in the general guiding structures as well as the understanding of a signal propagation in a lump circuit. In this course, we will mainly focus on the setup of basic fundamental principles in electromagnetism to convey the concepts of the EM technology applications in our modern world.
