This course is intended to bridge the gap between Calculus and Introduction to Alalysis. The propositional and predicate logic with the notations of sets, relations, functions are introduced for the understanding of mathematical arguments. Chapters 1-5 and 7 of the textbook will be covered. 熟悉以集合,函數,關係,分割為基礎的數學語言及證明, 為分析導論課程作準備, 附帶的能對程式語言及自然語言的架構及侷限有基本認知.
微積分(一)
Use E3 system. The class is taught in Chinese. However attending the class is a must even if you only know little Chinese. In this case you can read the English textbook in the class, and ocassionally the instructor would ask you some questions in English. The homeworks, midterm and final are given in English.
50% In class participation and homeworks, 20% Midterm, 30% Final
