The purpose of this course is to provide students with in-depth introduction on the articulatory and acoustic aspects of human speech. In addition, speech related communication disorder will be covered in the second half of the semester. Students need to watch the online lecture and propose two questions based on the textbook and lecture video 24 hours before the class. This class will benefit those who are interested in learning/teaching English pronunciation as well as students who are exploring the career path of speech language pathologist.
