數字貨幣與區塊鏈技術及應用概論

This course is designed to give students a broad view of the key technologies behind cryptocurrencies like BTC/Bitcoin, ETH/Ethereum, Hyperledger, and their potential and limitations when applied to broader business applications other than cryptoeconomics. Through lectures, class discussions, homework, and a term project, students are expected to have a holistic view of cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies and their business potentials. After the class, students should be able to understand what are bitcoin, ethereum, hyperledger and the general concept of blockchain.

Familiar with basic data structures like linked list, and programming languages like javascript, python, c++, or go

- A qualified TA, who has completed the first year of Master program and familiar with c++/python/go programming. Prior knowledge or experience on bitcoin or ethereum is a plus. - The class is conducted via lecture, discussion, and presentation with videos/images. Projector and media system are required.
