製程安全技術自1974年英國Flixborough環已烷爆炸事件發生後,開始受到重視,由於發展迅速,實用性高,已普遍應用於歐美工業先進國家的製程設計及產業製程操作管理中。 台灣近年來,社會大眾對環保及安全健康的意識大為提高,政府及產業界開始強化安全管理及意外防範,大規模投資計畫,必須經過嚴謹的環境與風險評估。因此,預期產業製程安全管理與技術將成為製程工程師不可缺少的工具。 本課程的主要目標在於讓學習者,從製程安全管理(Process Safety Management)基本要求與實務,到製程本質較安全設計(Process Inherently Safer Design)概念與策略、化學製程熱危害評估(Chemical Process Thermal Hazards Evaluation)技術、高科技產業製程安全管理與技術實務(Process Safety Management & Technical Practice in High-Tech Industry)等之主要議題能有充分的認知與瞭解。

一、授課方式: 1.課堂講授、教學影片播放及非同步網路遠距輔助教材學習等方式授課。 2.分組(3~5人)研討課程作業,於期中考週上台報告。 3.期末專題研討與口頭報告。
成績評定(Grading Policy): 1.Mid-Term Exam (Home Work Problem Assignment) 30% 2.Class Participation (上課參與感) 30% 3.Term Project Assignment 40%
