大一英文(二)

Freshman English II is an integrated 4-skill (listening, speaking, reading, & writing) language curriculum with a focus on reading and writing. This course will address reading and paragraph writing while supporting the communicative skills addressed in the first semester. In this course, students will: 。Develop critical reading skills, 。Engage in reflection on readings, 。Apply insights gained from readings, 。Orally paraphrase and summarize texts, and reflect on the texts in oral discussion, 。Write complete paragraphs with topic sentences, relevant supporting details, transition words, and concluding sentences, 。Continue to develop listening and speaking skills.

If you do not show up in the first day of class, you will be automatically dropped from the course.

** No make-up exams will be given and no late work will be accepted unless there is an official reason with prior approval. ** Tentative Syllabus and grading scheme maybe changed and will be announced either in class or via emails. ** Being absence for 3 times without prior approval or official reasons leads you to fail the class.
