概述

This course focuses on digital circuit design using the Verilog hardware description language. There is a series of labs that uses Xilinx FPGAs and EDA tools for digital circuit implementation.

教學方式

The course has a two-hour lecture plus a three-hour lab per week. There will be three to four TAs, depending on the number of students taking this class. Lecture notes will be uploaded to E3.

評分方式

Labs, a midterm online test, and a final online test.

教科書

There is no required textbooks. However, the following two ebooks available in the university library are recommended: 1. Peter j. Ashenden, Digital Design: An Embedded Systems Approach Using Verilog, Morgan Kaufmann Publishers, 2008. 2. Pong P. Chu, FPGA Prototyping by Verilog Examples: Xilinx Spartan-3 version, J. Wiley & Sons, 2008.
