概述

‧ To learn how to determine stresses, strains and displacements in simple structures, subjected to various types of loadings. ‧ Understanding the response of materials and the behavior of structures is essential for any sound and safe design.

第 5 週Torsion: torsion formula, statically determinate case.
第 6 週Torsion: statically indeterminate case.
第 7 週Torsion: power transmission shafts; 1st midterm.
第 8 週Equilibrium of beams.
第 9 週Stresses in beams: flexure formula, design of beams.
第 10 週Stresses in beams: non-homogeneous beams, shear flow.
第 11 週Stresses in beams: limitations on shear stress formula; deflection of beams: derivation of the differential equations.
