概述
本課程探討「金錢」在當代金融市場的功能與角色,內容包含傳統的貨幣理論,新種加密貨幣的觀念、利率和債券的原理等,並擴及金融市場的運作方式和銀行系統的架構與功能,以及中央銀行對貨幣市場的管理方式。課程中大量引用近代金融市場因不當的貨幣(利率)政策而引發的系統性金融危機,特別強調從金融市場經驗學習主管機關對潛在風險的認知、政策方向與因應手段、配合市場參與機構的機制與反應,足堪醞釀或化解金融危機。課程中會討論許多近期實務的資金市場狀況、利率變化與政策、金融機構因應方式、以及中央銀行貨幣政策,是股市總體經濟分析的入門課程之一。
