高級翻譯

This course focuses on advanced challenges in Chinese-English translation and some basic translation theory. Students will read and discuss chapters and complete exercises in two textbooks, one written primarily in Chinese, one primarily in English. Student grades will be based on periodic exams and one final project designed to demonstrate student mastery of advanced translation skills.

This course is designed for DFLL students (majors and minors).

Final translation project 20% Quizzes/exams 80% -2 points from final grade for each unexcused absence.
