音韻學專題:第二語言習得

Data from second and foreign language learning, from loanword adaptation, and from creolization play a crucial role in testing hypotheses about the nature of phonological grammars, the process of language acquisition, and the possible existence of universal and innate principles of grammar. In this course we will examine data from second language learning/acquisition and attempt to develop a model of language acquisition that is consistent with the data.
