本課程將從永續發展的角度介紹運輸規劃,包括運輸規劃之基本概念、程序架構與主要內容,同時講授運輸規劃所需之數量模式理論基礎與分析技巧,尤其著重運輸需求分析。 本課程主要目的在探討運輸行為如何可以永續,學生在學期結束時,除了解運輸規劃基本知識外,將了解如何將永續運輸融入規劃決策。

.This is a lecture-based course supplemented with real case studies. Students are expected to read class materials before the class; students are also encouraged to discuss the materials in the class. .Please let me (or the TA) know (anonymously, if you wish) what is going right and what is going wrong with lectures, assignments, content, etc. It is far better for all of us if we can work on these problems during the course and leave you satisfied at the end.
Students are required to write five short papers (not to exceed two pages) with topics chosen from the sustainability issues in transportation planning. Small assignments related to demand analysis will also be given to make sure students know what they are learning. A research paper and a brief 15 minute presentation at the end of the semester are required. One final exam Classroom participation 10%; Short papers and assignments 30%; Final exam 30%; Research paper 30%
