概述

This course studies corporate finance and capital markets, emphasizing the financial perspectives of managerial decisions. The course touches on all areas of finance, including the valuation of real and financial assets, risk management and financial derivatives, the trade-off between risk and expected return, and corporate financing and dividend policy. The course draws heavily on empirical research to help guide managerial decisions. Advance your understanding of how to use financial information to Value and Analyze firms. We will apply your economics/finance skills to problems from today's business news to help us understand What is contained in financial reports, Why firms report certain information, and How to be a sophisticated user of this information. Thus, the course objective is for students to 1. Understand major themes in the development of financial management 2. Understand the current trend in financial development in contemporary society 3. Analyze the knowledge of finance theory in business analytics to apply on business decision 4. Be interested and generate an innovative research topic.
