This course is one of the core courses for MBA students. The main purpose is to make the students learn more theories and practices for human resource management in organizations. After learning this course, students should be equipped with basic human knowledge and skills as a participant (employees, managers or even employers) in an organization to solve related issues or problems.

1. Homework and Assignments: Two assignments based on cased study and discussion will be arranged in the semester. 2. Exams and Quizzes: A final exam will be arranged near the end of the semester. 3. Final report: Every group selects one company cases with good performance and visits them with interviews to explore related HRM practices. 4. Evaluation and Grading Policy: (1) Assignments: 30%; (2) Final exam: 30%; (3) Final report (group-based): 30 %; (4) Participation in class (case discussion and others): 10%. 5. Supplementary information (websites, TAs, handouts and/or databases): Handouts will be provided before classes on professor’s personal course website.
