概述

The aim of this course is to foster the ability of the students in planning, creating, managing an on-line newspaper. The essentials of the course will include: news reporting and editing, web maintenance, .....information management, etc,. This course stresses the combination of theories and practice. 培養學生企畫、創辦、經營媒體的能力,包括新聞編採、網站建構、網頁設計、組織分工、流程規劃、知識管理等。著重理論與實務的結合。 This syllabus may be changed without prior notice to the students.

Assignments: 1. Follow a reporter for one day (recommended) 2. 6 stories---clues, writings & revisions 3. 3 CLASS ASSIGNMENTS Exams: None Grading system: 1. news clues AND news stories 30% 2. revisions 20% 3. TEAM WORK (group proposal, class notes, weekly performance) 20% 4. attendance (incl. , , portfolio & assignments) 30% 5, Helping others’ revise stories 10%
