To introduce the operating principles of Nextgen wireless comm such as 5G and develop the students with analytical and design skills for transmitter and receiver chip design.
General knowledge of Electromagnetics I and II, Device Physics, wireless comm and Microwave electronics but not absolutely essential.
1. Attendance-10% 2. Homework and Assignments: 20% 3. Midterm Exam: 30% 4. Final Project/exam- 30% 5. Final Presentation-10% 6. Pedagogy and other supplementary information (websites, TAs, handouts and/or databases): Lecture notes will be provided by TA’s.
