Organic Chemistry (I)
The course is an introduction to organic chemistry, focusing primarily on the basic principles to understand the bonding, structure, physical, and chemical properties of organic molecules. How to name the organic molecules systematically and how to study the kinetic properties of the organic molecules in chemical reactions.
Classes are given in English and students should have basic English listening ability.
Assignment: No assignment for the course, but students are highly recommended to solve the in-chapter and end-of-chapter problems, which will strengthen / clarify the concepts that they have learnt after watching the video. Solutions for selected problems will be provided upon request. Grading: Students will be graded based on the average score from the module 1 and module 2 examinations.
