概述
This course aims to help students to express themselves clearly and fluently in English for academic and professional purposes. Through the reading of a wide range of materials, we will systematically explore major types of English discourse. Besides in-class and/or take-home assignments, a term paper project is also required.

Writing assignments 55% Term Paper (7-10 pages) 30% Participation and attendance 15% (*3 unexcused absences equal to a failing grade.)
