The aim of this conversation class is to strengthen students' listening and speaking ability, and to help students quickly adapt themselves to the life in Taiwan.
The students must have completed, or be taking the courses of Introductory Chinese I and/or Introductory Everyday Chinese I. NOTE: Students who missed the first two classes will be dropped from the course.
Reminders: 1.Students who missed the first two classes will be dropped from the course. 2.Regular attendance is required, and students who have more than 5 unexcused absences will be failed. A total absence of 1/4 of course hours will lead to an automatic failure. 3.Please be reminded that your homework must be submitted on time.Late homework cannot be accepted. 4. The lecturer reserves the right to make changes to the course schedule based on the actual progress of the class.
Evaluation: Attendance and Class Participation: 30% Homework and Quizzes: 30% Midterm Exam: 20% Final Exam: 20%
