The course is aimed to motivate students to share with others what they are passionate about through formal and organized presentations.

1. To this end, the course includes 9 weeks of presentation sessions (a total of 27 slots) in this semester. Each week, there are three presentation slots: (slot 1) 2:20-2:40pm, (slot 2) 2:40-3:00pm, and (slot 3) 3:00-3:20pm. 2. During the first class of the semester, students are required to sign up for giving the presentation at one of the 27 time slots. 3. Each presentation is about 15-min long, followed by 5 minutes of questions. Basically, you can choose ANY subject you would like to present. There are two important guidelines for the presentation. First, choose the subject that interests and inspires you greatly. Second, design your presentation to best illustrate the subject with a logical and fluent flow, possibly via figures, and animation, etc. if necessary. 4. Every student who does not present is required to fill out and submit the Presentation Feedback Form (next page) for each talk at the end of the class. Note that, it is the student’s obligation to print and bring the forms to the class. The forms will be collected from all the students and given to the presenter in the subsequent week. 5. You will pass this course only if you meet the requirement above and are absent for no more than 3 presentations (or 1 week).
