概述

This course on the principle and applications of solar cells is focused on photovoltaic materials, cells and systems. This course is offered jointly by NCTU and Motech. The purposes are threefold: (1) to give students the basic understanding of solar cells materials, principle and applications in general, (2) to expose the students to practical silicon solar cell fabrication processes and facilities, and (3) to give students opportunities to search and review status of world solar cell power plants as well as to understand the solar cell status in Taiwan.

The student scores will be determined by (1) midterm examination 40%, (2) presentation and report 30%, and (3) class attendance 30%
