概述

介紹現有光學生物影像技術 目標: (1) To provide fundamental concepts in optics, laser, microscopy, linear and nonlinear molecular spectroscopy. (2) To help students develop physical understanding about the underlying principles of various emerging optical imaging techniques. (3) To motivate individuals into this exciting field to make innovation

評分方式

學期作業:佔總學期30分(約4~5份) 考試狀況:除了作業之外,其餘均為報告成績 評量方法 Home Work:30%; Presentation(case study):40%; Term Paper:30% ‧For Presentation, topic of specific case study will be given to each student in the middle of semester. Students will have at least two weeks preparation time before their individual presentation ‧For term paper, there are two options): Option A: Original proposal (less than 3 pages) of a new photon-based method for biological systems. A major modification on an existing method can be also considered. Option B: Review paper (10~15 pages) on the principles of a particular optical imaging method and its applications to biological studies. More than 30 references are required.
