To realize higher performance and lower energy consumption of advanced green nano-devices such as ULSI, MEMS sensor, solar cells, secondary batteries, thermo-electric conversion devices, hydrogen energy and so on, a process technology with atomic layer level control of device and materials and structure is inevitable. This lecture will introduce atomic layer process and its application for nano-energy devices. Computational studies on various energy materials and devices by using state-of-the-art modeling, simulation and optimization will be discussed.
