The course aims to help you develop your English listening speaking skills through integrated strategies of listening and speaking to a variety of materials and tasks. Thus, you are going to experience various listening and speaking activities, such as discussions, lectures, games, social media, and public speeches. Since listening and speaking are situated in high interactive practices, you are required to work intensively with your peers, such as peer interaction, peer evaluation, and group projects. It is expected that by the end of the course, you will be able to 1. identify your listening and speaking problems, 2. improve your listening and speaking skills in different contexts and for different purposes, 3. effectively work with your peers, 4. demonstrate logic/critical thinking in your speaking, and 5. provide critical comments on others' work.
