1. To learn how to teach four skills, listening, speaking, reading, and writing in an effective and efficient way. 2. To immerse in real classroom experiences by observing junior/senior high teachers during field trips. 3. To understand the construct and content of a test with hands-on experiences. 4. To teach on simulated occasions.
修過 Subject-related Teaching Materials & Methods (English),對英文教材教法有初步認識,對實行所學有相當興趣及熱忱。

1. Attendance (20%): * If you miss 2 classes without proper personal excuses, you are unlikely to pass. 2. Participation and group discussion (20%): * Your active involvement, either individual or group, is highly valued and concerned. 3. Simulated teaching (40%): * In this semester, everyone has 2 chances to practice teaching on simulated occasions. Incumbent teachers may be invited as judges to offer comments and share experiences, and each of your teaching sessions can be recorded for self review. 4. Field trip journals (20%): After every classroom field trip, write up a journal about your observations or thoughts on the teaching techniques/lesson plan/student reactions or other classroom-related issues. The journal is due one week before our last meeting (June 13th). The length should not be more than 2 pages (Times New Roman, font 12, double-sided).
