The course focuses on the basics of design thinking process and mechanical element design, including the design process and engineering mechanics and materials. 本課程獲[教育部新工程教育方法實驗與建構計畫]獎助,為本系新整合[具備需求導向思維之機械設計工程人才培育]課群之必修課之一,鏈結圖學(鄭中緯老師)、應用力學一(蔡佳霖老師)、機動學(洪紹剛老師)、材料力學(鄭文雅老師)、機械製造(洪景華老師、鍾添淦老師)、機械設計原理(楊秉祥老師)、與專題及其他實作課程,運用實際產品範例強化學以致用之能力。歡迎有興趣同學完整修習本課群課程。

作業部份: There will be homework sets throughout the semester. Homework is due at the beginning of class on the date listed in the homework assignment. Late homework will not be accepted. Project: In the term project, several students will conduct a small team design project using the knowledge learned from this course, and prepare a written report and a presentation on a scheduled date. 考試部份: A mid-semester exam will be given, covering the first half of the course. The final exam will be cumulative, but will concentrate on the second half of the course. 評量部份(Subject to Change): Class participation, in-class discussions, homework 20% Quiz 10% Midterm Exam 25% Project 15% Final Exam 30%
