We will introduce the theories, concepts, and methods of certain Applied Multivariate techniques in the theoretical and applied researches, including Cluster Analysis, Manova, Canonical Correlation Analysis, Discriminant Analysis, Principal Correlation Analysis, Exploratory Factor Analysis, Confirmatory Factor Analysis, Path Analysis and Structural Equation Modeling.
選修過高等教育統計研究(IED 5895)或同等級課程。如果未選修過相關課程,請與授課者討論後再選修本課。

Students can download authentic PASW&SAS from NCTU CCCA(https://ca.nctu.edu.tw/) and use the software on campus. The authentic Mplus can be used in the PC lab of ITE. Using illegal software is prohibited.
作業 40% (A~A+:每次作業需含2題自問自答的多變量相關題目) 期末專題與報告 20% 上課報告 10% -每單元結束後,同學需口頭報告所研讀之論文 15min 課程參與 10% computer lab and experiment 20% 本課程之作業與期末專題皆須為個人親自並獨立撰寫;若經查證屬抄襲,將依校規議處。作業請在繳交時間期限前上傳電子檔至e3平台,逾時不收。作業檔名為 學號_姓名_HW#.docx,請以Time New Roman 12pt,A4紙橫打;請呈現重要表格,並以紅色粗體字標示表格與圖中之重要統計數值,謹慎撰寫完整統計分析結論(需包含重要統計數值以佐證結論)。
