個別研究

This course aims to facilitate students’ own research projects. The course instructor will train students so that they can develop basic research skills, including analytical reading, analytical writing, theory analysis, film and image analysis, building up a bibliography or filmography, and so on. Those who take this course should have already known what their research interests are. 
The instructor will meet with students individually, and around once per month. Those who take this course are expected to send the course instructor their reading notes/film notes/research notes and so on three days before monthly meetings.

Those who are interested in taking this course should contact the instructor no later than the first week of the semester.

 本課程目標為協助個別同學依據自己的興趣學習做研究。修課同學在修本課前需已清楚自己的研究興趣。授課教師會依據個別學生的興趣,協助同學發展獨立研究的能力,包括學習蒐集資料、 結構性地讀書、做理論與文獻分析、建構自己所需的研究書單或片單、培養基本影像識讀能力等。確切的課程內容與進行方式會根據修課同學的興趣與能力而決定。

 本課為獨立研究課程,修課同學必須是課程的主動的參與者。授課教師則以其研究專長與經驗,引導與協助修課同學做研究。換言之,修課同學必須主動積極,願意學習,清楚自己的研究興趣是什麼,並且勤奮認真。


原則上,授課教師每個月與學生晤談一次,但實際會面頻率依個別同學需求與能力而決定。 每次會面以前,請修課的同學在會談日*三天前*將寫好之研究筆記、文獻分析筆記或影像分析筆記等,以電子郵件先寄給老師。

 有意修課的同學請最晚在開學第一週寫信與授課教師聯絡,並介紹自己的研究興趣。屆時師生會共同討論課程的內容、進行方式與進度。
