人工智慧概論

The goal is to introduce students to the basic concepts and methods of intelligent computer systems. As this course is being migrated to a more integrated, capstone-style course of the Computer Science department, more emphasis will be placed on the understanding of more general, important principles, as well as the ability of implementing and analyzing projects that may encompass multiple topics from the course.

Programming Data Structures Some understanding of logic, set theory, probability theory, calculus, linear algebra *** This course will require significant amount of programming work. You should at least have the programming ability to pass the "Basic Computer Programming Exam" of the Computer Science department (資工系程式能力鑑定), and is able to program most data structures/algorithms (such as the various sorting, BST, hash table, etc.) from scratch. ***

Programming assignments and projects: 50% * This includes 3 individual programming assignments and 1 group project. * Each assignment/project requires a written report. * The group project will involve a game tournament. Exams (x2): 50%
