大一英文(二)

This course aims to nurture the critical thinking of students while boosting their English communication skills. The students are expected to construct facts along with their opinions on any given topics upon finishing this course. The class will be conducted in 3 modules. In the first and second modules, students will cover issues such as: gender equality, water resources in developing countries, online addiction, social media, marriage around the world, and (in)equality in developed countries. In the third module, students will be assigned to their interest groups to interview NGO workers from developing countries such as Pakistan, India, and Cambodia. The trainings in the third module will include researching for the target cause of the NGOs, composing valid questions, conducting fruitful interviews, and construct informative presentations.
