這個課程主要以華語進行,上課時會看一些電影片段,會討論電影主題及電影中的華人文化。老師也會教學生電影中的對話和詞彙, 並讓學生角色扮演部份電影片段。(This course will be conducted mainly in Mandarin. During the classes, we will watch movie clips and will discuss themes and various aspects of Chinese culture as reflected in the films. The instructor will also teach the students dialogues and vocabulary in the films and have students role play some of the scenes.) 此外,老師會讓學生閱讀情節大綱, 也會請學生分組創作短劇並演出。(Moreover, the instructor will have students read plot summaries and will also have students work on a team basis to create short plays and act out in Mandarin.)
學生必須要有中級以上的華語能力或是修完新版實用視聽華語三或當代中文三等課程。 (Students must have an intermediate level of Mandarin or have completed the study of Practical Audio-Visual Chinese volume three or A Course in Contemporary Chinese 3)
