Topics that we will study in this course include 1. Linear algebra and applications 2. Autonomous linear systems 3. Linear systems with inputs and outputs 4. Controllability, observability and stability 5. Optimal control and estimation We will study both continuous-time and discrete-time systems.

Linear algebra System and signals

Note: Due to CORVID-19, we may present course material in different ways, such that we can proceed as scheduled even if the virus spread gets worse. 1. The PDF version of the textbook will be provided to every student enrolled. 2. No matter we have classroom lectures or not, lecture notes will be provided to you, accompanied with many questions or problems. 3 You have to very seriously work on EVERY question and problem, because our closed book midterm and final will be based solely on these questions and problems. 4. Although there is a special arrangement for this term, LECTURES WILL BE OFFERED AS USUAL, UNTIL SITUATIONS DO NOT ALLOW.
