概述

課程目的: 光電訊號處理 I & II (Electro-Optical Signal Processing I & II)兩個學期課程架構以光電訊號分析處理與光電系統為主軸,藉由一維(於時間域)與二維(於空間域)的連續與離散傅立葉轉換(Fourier transform)來做信號分析以及在光電訊號系統上應用,並著重理論與實作的搭配,使修課的學生能真正的了解一維與二維連續與離散的訊號與系統原理。利用這些原理基礎來實作單元一(一維連續時間):頻率調變分頻多功雷射通訊實作(Lab 1);單元二(一維離散時間):DSP頻譜分析儀製作(Lab 2);單元三(二維連續空間):光學特徵辨識儀架設(Lab 3);單元四(二維離散空間):適應性濾波器之影像強化技術(Lab 4)。期使學生能夠熟知光電訊號與系統原理,以實驗應證這些光電訊號的處理;進而運用這些光電訊號處理理論與技術,來整合與發展光電訊號系統工程。 課程內容: 光電訊號處理 I 1. Signals and Systems: (1D Continuous-Time Signal Processing) a. Signals & Systems: Overall concept, and Linear lime-invariant (LTI) System. b. Signal Processing: Fourier series, Continuous-time Fourier transform (CTFT), Discrete-time Fourier transform (DTFT), Filtering, and Modulation. c. Radio (Optical) Communication System: High-frequency current amplifier, Laser automatic power control, Oscillators, and Phase-locked loop (PLL). Lab 1: Frequency-modulation Frequency-division-multiplexing Laser Communication System: Laser APC, Photo-detector, Modulation Circuit, and Demodulation Circuit. Ref.: A. V. Oppenheim, A. S. Digital Filter Design: IIR filters, FIR filters, and Adaptive filtering. c. Fourier Analysis of Signals: Windows, DFT analysis of sinusoidal signals, and Time-dependent Fourier transform. Adaptive Intelligent (AI): Neural Networking (NN), Convolution NN (CNN), & Recurrent NN (RNN). Lab 2: Portable Spectrum Analyzer: ADC & Analog LPF, and Digital LPF & FFT. Ref.: A. V. Oppenheim and R. Optical Information Processing: (2D Continuous-Space Signal Processing) a. 2D Signals and Systems: Analysis, Scalar diffraction theory, and Fresnel and Fraunhofer diffractions. b. Optical Information Systems and Processing: Wave-optics analysis of coherent optical systems, Frequency analysis of optical imaging systems, and Analog optical information processing. c. Holography and Light Modulation: Analog holography, Computer-generated holograms, and Light modulation via digital micromirror device (DMD) & spatial light modulator (SLM). Lab 3: Analog and Computer-Generated Holographic System with Spatial Light Modulator (SLM) and Digital Micromirror Device (DMD). Ref.: J. W. Image Transforms: Matrix operations, Random signals, Unitary transforms, Discrete Fourier transform (DFT), Discrete cosine transform (DCT), Karhunen-Loeve (KL) transform, Singular value decomposition (SVD), and Wavelet transform. c. Image Enhancement and Restoration: Histograms, Edge detections, Inverse filters, Wiener filter, and Adaptive Wiener filter. Lab 4: Image Filtering and Restoration with Adaptive Wiener Filter.
