This course is an advanced version of the undergraduate course "Introduction to Operating System". Generally, the topics of this course remains the same as those of the undergraduate counterpart, but our subjects and discussions will be much deeper and require more contribution from students. There will be no hands-on assignments for this course, but students are expected to present selected papers in a highly logical, organized manner. For each topic, the lecturer will offer a concise introduction first, and then the class will proceed to paper presentation by students (in English). Paper presentation accounts for a large proportion (40%) of your final grade, so please do it seriously.
