The objective of the course is to provide knowledge of constitutive model of geo-material and help student to utilize the constitutive models on the analysis of geotechnical engineering. The related subjects include tensor, stress, strain, elasticity, plasticity, and engineering application of constitutive models. Enable students for the following abilities: 1. To be familiar with theories of constitutive law. 2. To be able to formulate/establish corresponding material models from the test results. 3. To be able to read research papers in related field. 4. To utilize the models or criteria on engineering practice.
