This course aims to (1) introduce manufacturing/service models, solution approaches and success stories of scheduling theory, (2) equip the students with fundamental optimization methods for research endeavours and potential opportunities of real-world applications.
Data structures and/or computer algorithms ** Proficiency in programming is required.
Assignment (including computer implementations): 25% Midterm Exam: 25% Term Project: 30% Presentation: 10% Participation: 10%
