語言、歷史、人文、批判的思潮與理論觀點,對於1960年以後的文化人類學理論,有其深刻的影響。本課程第一部份將討論Bourdieu, Foucault, Gramsci, Bakhtin等人的理論、作品,與當代文化人類學的幾個重要理論議題(實踐、論述、語言、文類、對話、後現代)的形成,及民族誌知識及作品的創造、再現的內在關聯。並且,經由民族誌的實踐,也提供評論前述幾位西方思想家理論的可能性。本課程的第二部分,將針對「性/別」、「多元文化」、「歷史人類學」,不同專題進行討論。上述理論觀點,對於人類學的民族誌工作,提出重要反省的再出發點。延續此,本堂課最後一部份,將閱讀武漢大學社會人類學者朱炳祥教授《對蹠人》系列民族誌著述,針對理論視野的變遷,與人類學知識的反思,作綜合的討論。 這門課的另一個目的,在於培養研究生主動找尋特定人類學理論議題的文獻,並針對所選的文獻,撰寫正式的學術書評。以為學生未來進行論文的獨立學術研究工作,奠立基礎。
Seminar course. The students are expected to participate actively on reading, oral presentation, discussion, and formal anthropological critique writing. ( 這是一堂以有文化人類學相關背景的碩士班研究生為主的討論課程。每位選課(或旁聽)的同學,須積極參與閱讀、報告、討論、提問、書評寫作。)
