This course will 1) familiarize the students with the techniques and jargon in the robotics field, 2) enable the students to understand and solve robotics problems. 3) let the students experience and appreciate the difficulties of the real world robotics problems.
Familiarity with basic robotics & statistical concepts will be helpful for this course, as will be hands-on experience with software development in C, C++ or Python.
Assignments: 30% one midterm exam/project: 25% one final project: 25% Class Participation and Presentation: 20%
