先修科目

*欲修課者第一堂請務必準時到課,否則視為自動放棄修課權利。第一堂課如需請假,請於第一堂課前通知授課老師並依學校規定完成請假手續。 The teacher will distribute and explain a detailed syllabus with a tentative course schedule on the first class. If you do not attend the first class, you will lose your spot in this class (unless you have requested for an excused absence of the first class and been given approval before the first class).

教學方式

1. Class materials will be uploaded to the new E3 platform (https://e3new.nctu.edu.tw/login/index.php) 2. Active participation is required and will add to your grade. Attendance will be taken in each class. Please join the class on time. Being late for more than twenty minutes is regarded as being absent for that hour. TWO POINTS will be taken off from your final grade for each hour of absence. 3. If you are absent due to uncontrollable situations, such as acute/severe illness, emergency, important occasions, etc., please file your application along with the valid proof on NCTU Students Leave System (http://stuoffcourse.nctu.edu.tw/) within 1 week. The medication receipt with correct stamp of date by accredited hospitals can be seen as a valid proof. The instructor reserves the right to refuse or revoke leave of absence application. If you are absent for more than 3 lessons without advance notice, you will fail the course. (For further information, please refer to http://scahss.sa.nctu.edu.tw/?wpdmpro=%E5%AD%B8%E7%94%9F%E8%AB%8B%E5%81%87%E8%A6%8F%E5%89%87) 4. Absence from a class is no excuse for not knowing the assignment and what has been discussed in class. It is the student’s responsibility to find out what has been covered in the class by checking E3 or getting handouts/notes from the classmates. No late work will be accepted (unless you have requested an extension and been given approval ahead of the deadline). **The assessment and course requirements are tentative. They may be modified if the class is affected by the epidemic of Coronavirus. In addition, instructional design may be modified to accommodate students who are affected by the epidemic of Coronavirus.
