這個課程目的為加強學生之聽、說、讀、寫能力,讓他們能夠用流暢的華語,表達對各種深度議題之看法和意見,聽懂廣播或電視新聞, 閱讀報紙和小說,並書寫記敘或論說的文章等等。 This course aims at enhancing student' four skills of Mandarin, enabling them to express themselves fluently about various issues in Mandarin, making it easier for them to understand Chinese radio broadcast or TV news, read newspapers and novels and write narrative or argumentative essays in Mandarin.
學生需要有相當於中級之華語能力,或者學完當代中文第三冊或其他程度相當的教材。 Students are supposed to have an intermediate level of Mandarin proficiency or have completed the study of volume three of "A Course in Contemporary Chinese" or any of the other textbooks of the same level.
出席 (attendance) 10% 期中考 (midterm exam) 20% 期末考 (final exam) 20% 個人課堂口頭報告 (individual in-class oral report) 10% 個人平常表現 (individual general performance) 10% 分組活動 (含分組短劇表演) teamwork or pair work (inclusive of a short play project) 20% 個人影片拍攝 (shoot a two-minute long video in which you introduce a scenic spot, demonstrate how to make a simple dish, talk about a film, a book etc.) 10%
