概述

Semiconductor engineering deliver high performance electronic products. In this class, the important aspects of the semiconductor engineering will be introduced, including semiconductor physics, materials, critical processing step, the basic of the devices, i.e., Diode, MOSFET, and BJT, and the reliability issues in semiconductor devices. Furthermore, the advanced devices used in post Moore’s law era will be introduced. Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs): By the end of this class, you should be able to: 1. Explain the basic materiel properties and device physics. 2. Apply the device physics to evaluate the operation principles of p-n diodes, MOSFETs, BJTs, and JFETs. 3. Evaluate the important reliability issues and advanced devices
