We will introduce the theory and application of embedded system based on internet of things and provide the hands-on practice about micropython project and raspberry Pi labs. Students taking this course will gain the concepts of core technology, current landscape, outlook of the IoT/M2M and learn how to establish IoT projects using single microprocessors or embedded system.
Prerequisite: Python Programming, Linux OS, Basic skills of electronic labs, and so on. We will take a pretest of Python programming on classroom at first week .
Lectures, hands-on labs, and demo final project and oral present and written report ※Students should prepare a notebook with WiFi function for hands-on Labs.
1. Mid term : pencil test + Raspberry Pi integration project with sensing modules(25% +15%) 2. Final project, oral present/written report (25%) 3. Hands-on labs (35%)
