This course will introduce viscous fluid flows and their applications. Topics covered include (1) Introduction; (2) Exact Solutions of Navior-Stokes Equations; (3) Low-Reynolds Number Flows; (4) Large-Reynolds Number Flow (Boundary Layer Theory); and (5) Numerical Analyses of N-S Equations. Remind that this course is taught by English. The notes will be provided in class and several films will be shown to help the students to have the images for the fluid motions. Students will be required to demonstrate their learning achievement through homeworks and mid and final-term examinations.
